Use of the calculator
You may use the calculator to estimate physical dimensions from pixels and a selected PPI value, or to estimate required pixels from inches and PPI.
How results are calculated
The core formulas are inches = pixels ÷ PPI and pixels = inches × PPI. Centimeter and millimeter values are mathematical unit conversions from inches.
Print results are estimates
The calculator does not guarantee the quality, color, sharpness, cropping, or physical output of a particular printer or service. Final results can depend on the source image, printer, paper, scaling, sharpening, viewing distance, and production process. Check the requirements of the service that will produce the print.
Selected images
You are responsible for having permission to use any image you select. The current application reads pixel dimensions locally and does not provide image hosting, editing, or rights clearance.
Availability and changes
The tool may change, be corrected, or be unavailable. Do not rely on it as the only source for a time-sensitive or costly production decision.
