PPI is the number of image pixels assigned to each printed inch. A higher PPI produces a smaller physical size from the same pixels.

Divide the number of pixels by the selected PPI. At 300 PPI, 1800 pixels ÷ 300 equals 6 inches.
It depends on the PPI you choose. One inch is 96 pixels at 96 PPI, 150 pixels at 150 PPI, and 300 pixels at 300 PPI.
PPI measures image pixels per inch. DPI measures printer dots per inch. People often use the terms interchangeably in casual print discussions, but they describe different stages of the process.
300 PPI is a common target for detailed prints viewed up close. Around 150 PPI may be enough for large-format work viewed from farther away. Always check the printer's requirements.
